it could work.

what kind of dress are you thinking about?

ZZZenAgain · 07/05/2010 18:24

why would you look like an overgrown toddler?

chipmonkey · 07/05/2010 22:02

Oh, toddlers are chubby with flouncy dresses aren't they?
I don't have a particular dress in mind, just seem to be passing loads of shop windows with maxi dresses at the moment!

I am 6'1 and a size 16 - I just looked like a hot air balloon in the 10 or so dresses I tried on last Saturday - not kind to us curvey ladies

brimfull · 07/05/2010 22:05

I am same size as you
I tried on this one and it was nice on , but with heels
even had approval of 18yr old dd who cruelly honest

That one looks very nice, ggirl! Think the dark colour would be forgiving as well!

cheaper alternative to ggirl lovely dress

cyb · 08/05/2010 16:16

it needs to be cut slim or you run the risk of looking like a walking bell

cyb · 08/05/2010 16:17

clure thats a nice dress, done no favours by the model yanking it out of shape

Clure · 08/05/2010 16:40

cyb, agree, it looks like it would hang nicely, though the jersey fabric a little thin. Mind you for that price...! Was tempted but at 5'1 it dragged along the floor
