GHD vs Cloud nines

I have straight straight straight hair but the hairdresser curled it really well with some cloud nines the other week so am tempted to buy some (or GHDs). Are GHDs the best, or is abit like getting GHDs for the sake of having some 'GHDs', if that makes sense?

i have ghd's and cna highl;y recommend them, i have not heard of cloud nines though. fwiw though i can never curl my hair with straighteners like the hairdresser can so i brought a babyliss curling wand and its fantastic so easy to use and really gorgeous soft bouncy curls.

No opinion on the cloud 9's as I have GHD's but if you want straighteners to curl with make sure they have a curved edge on the barrel and a swivel cord and you can't go wrong.

I have looked and looked at the cloud 9s and they seem better TBH for my hair - they are tube shaped (if that makes sense), lower heat (I have very fine hair and don't need the extra heat for very straight) and you seem to be able to do alot with them. Thanks
