...leggings and flats with my dress in May?
I've bought a grey jersey dress with a sequinned panel down the front from Jigsaw. Is fitted at bust and sleeveless, then falls loosely to just below the knee. Have a nice cardigan / wrap thingy to go with. Am a size 12. I hate wedding wear as loathe wearing a dress and heels, NEVER feel comfortable getting my legs out. Do you think I can get away with wearing black ankle length leggings with it and flat ballet pumps? Or do I need to suffer the high heels? Can't wear just pumps and no tights/leggings as will feel like Mrs stumpy-white legs.

Flats, yes. Leggings, no.

Tights?

Could wear tights but black opaque in May a bit too wintry do you think? What other colour could I wear? Fishnets won't go with the dress, is too flowy, even with heels.

Sheer tights?
Leggings are just wrong for a wedding.

I can't find the dress any more, think it's sold out on the website. I'll maybe opt for a pale spray tan and go with flats or low heels, thanks all. Grumble, my legs will be out...
