Accessorising for a churchy wedding

I have bought two dresses for a wedding I'm going to in a month.

here and

here

Have to decide between them, though I'm leaning towards the longer at the moment.

I've never been to a church wedding before - do you have to wear a hat? What can I wear over it, what jewellery? Etc. etc. Can't accessorise for toffee.

Okay, no need at all for a hat, IMO.

The first one is gorgeous-actually, they are both lovely.

How pregnant are you?

The 1st I would wear with flat gold sandals/flipflops, some dangly earrings, and a natural coloured straw clutch bag. Is it quite 'tits-out'? If so, a wrappy thing in gold could work. Something like this would be good for some coverage while in church.

Or, for a more insouciant effect, a fitted little blazer in navy, worn with collar up and sleeves rolled up a touch. It will look like you've borrowed a man's jacket, in a good way.

The second dress I also like, but it looks v short, which added to bump might (or might not) make you feel a little uncomfortable in church. I'd put it with gold shoes/natural bag as well, but really think it is more a frock for a night out than a church wedding.

Ooh thanks, I like that gold monsoon top. Not sure I can pull off insouciant

I'll be 5 months pregnant, though I've already got a sizeable bump. The second dress feels a comfortable length stood up in front of the mirror, but thinking about all the sitting around I'd probably be tugging it down over my knees a lot.

Thanks for the tips.
