I might be going out on friday night, girlks night out in town.
Have not been out in months.
Am size 18-20, biiiiiiig norks
I need a new top to go with either indigo jeans (preferable as then I don't need a bag) or black leggings, or possibly knee length deniom skirt.

Have burgundy high heels or black slightly lower heels.
I have a budget of maybe £20 and can only get to tesco or asda between now and then, I will also have DD's in tow.

Please find me a top. I thank you.

(I might be persuaded into a dress, legs aren't too bad from mid thigh...)

Yes- I like the ruffly one but rejected it as it is cut away at the back

Casmama · 28/04/2010 22:56

this with this?

JackBauer · 28/04/2010 22:58

I know prosecco, I might get a waterfall cardie thing to go over it, it would hide the straops at the front though (dont hate me)

OP posts:
Casmama · 28/04/2010 23:10

this with a little cardi or is that a bit much?

teta · 29/04/2010 00:41

Matalan have a couple of wrap dresses that are suitable for wearing with jeans. They are cotton one in blue and one in red mix.The blue one is called"be beau ocean sea print dress cotton wrap dress" and is on the website -I can't find the other one. They are lovely on and people thought they were from monsoon as have sequins and a sheer edging.A shorter version is also available as a top.I have checked and they go up to size 18 and I would say the sizing is generous.I am size 14 and they are very flattering on me and look more expensive than they are and are also within your price bracket.Tis worth a try

JackBauer · 29/04/2010 08:29

This? I like that and has the bonus of being nice but not so dressy I can't wear it again for a bit to school or park...

teta · 29/04/2010 08:53

Yes that!.You will need a vest underneath. They have plain vests there too- i think in lots of different colours .

JackBauer · 29/04/2010 09:13

Oh thank fuck for that, got a bit weirded out for amin as you don't have my email

opinions on that top teta suggested? inidog slim jeans and heels?

OP posts:
teta · 29/04/2010 10:35

I wore with indigo slim jeans and wedge heels as I think as a dress - it is a bit see-thru because of the edging.I think it would be a high-summer dress or by the pool dress. With jeans it is more like a long top!.

lynnexxxo · 29/04/2010 12:06

I bought that matalan dress yesterday !

Really like it but it is just a tiny bit short so will probably wear with leggings or jeans.
