Back to work after 3 years out... WHAT AM I GOING TO WEAR??

Start a new job in 2 weeks after 3 years out as SAHM.

Although I am/used to be pretty confident in my general appearance/putting outfits together, for some reason I am stressing about what I should wear.

I am also stressing about child care/tax issues, missing ds, how I will get shopping/cleaning done, missing ds, holidays, sickness, travelling 60 miles a day, world peace etc etc but thats a whole bunch of other threads

Generally I am stressing about everything

Any ideas for what I should be wearing, just some ideas to get me started.

Ideally I would like to make what I have work for the time being, as although I will be earning £££, at the moment havent got a huge amount spare with holiday next week and paying for nursery up-front.

Oh, its office based, telecoms engineer, mainly blokes in office - some in shirts and trousers, others jeans and rugby shirts. 1 woman who was in pastel "blouse", floral mid-calf skirt and scholl "sandals".

Hellllllpppppppppp

what did you wear when you last worked?

Shirt & trouser combo could work, linen perhaps for summer?

or if you were more of a skirts/ dresses person, then some people at my work do tea dress & smart cardi ?

Trousers and smart t-shirts/tops, skirts and stuff I think...

Notably - I chucked all old work clothes out about 3 months ago citing that "if I ever went back to work I would get new"

I just want to fit in I guess. Maybe play it safe for a month or 2, see if I can get away with opened toed shoes/skirts without tights.

I picked up a few not terribly expensive necklaces at the supermarket which I can always rely on to boost a top or shirt with trousers / skirt (especially if I'm behind on washing / ironing my limited stock of smart stuff).
