What's the concensus on Ugg sandals? Still Uggs?

Without offending you ugg wearers, I'm not a fan of the boots. Just because ok.

But i've spotted these and am wondering what the consensus is on ugg sandals.

ugg sandals here

Any opinions? (of the sandals, not my snobbery thanks)

Those are quite nice.
With you on Uggs though.
Minging.

skihorse · 26/04/2010 19:09

Fugly.

justallovertheplace · 26/04/2010 19:11

I was all ready to say O hell no

Nevergoogle · 26/04/2010 19:23

You're not convinced, are you?

rubyslippers · 26/04/2010 19:27

those are particularly lovely

(disclaimer: i bought UGG flip flops last year, and i have 2 pairs of Uggs for the winter)

brimfull · 26/04/2010 19:31

they would be nice without the ankle strap

nice for the skinny calved

Rockbird · 26/04/2010 19:34

Looks like something out of the Life of Brian...

uggmum · 26/04/2010 19:35

Sorry I am an Ugg fan. I wear Uggs in winter and Birkenstocks in summer. (yes I have terrible flat feet)
Love the sandals though.

KnottyLocks · 26/04/2010 19:37

Lovely with a toga and if your name is Caesar.

Nevergoogle · 26/04/2010 19:46

I'm not convinced.
I saw them and though, oh now they might be nice, but then saw they were uggs and i was a bit surprised.
No toga, but might be nice with jeans? maybe cropped jeans?

I'm venturing to the city tomorrow for my quarterly shopping visit into the real world since moving to the netherregions of this island.

'spose it probably doesn't matter what shoes i'm wearing, there's nobody trendy around to judge see them.

Yay or nay?

They're not awful but I'd say you could get nicer for the price. Is there sheepskin on the heel part of the footbed (don't know the technical term for that)? If so, it seems like a desperate attempt to stick to the Ugg theme.

SusieCarmichael · 27/04/2010 00:50

they're ok but not £90 worth of ok!

diddl · 27/04/2010 08:29

Horrible-and ridiculously overpriced.

NorbertDentressangle · 27/04/2010 08:33

I like them (yet hate Uggs boots).

The only problem is I just know that they would rub on my bony ankles...ouch.

RockSteady · 27/04/2010 11:12

they're quite nice but you could get nicer for cheaper!

Nevergoogle · 27/04/2010 20:42

Hmm, didn't see any in any shops in Edinburgh today. They had other ugg sandals but not these.
Hey ho.
I'm still on the lookout for some properly made, comfortable gladiator type sandals.

Anybody got these yet?
