can you recommend me some school shoes?

for ds1 please? he is 5 and he just keeps tripping over in his shoes. first i thought it was because they were maybe a teeny bit big on him, then maybe he was just getting used to it... but now he is in shorts he has skinned his knees twice in 2 days poor little love.

i need something lightweight, leather, flexible... any ideas?

Sorry, no advice really but I have the same problem with my 6 yr old DS.. He's been through 4 pairs this year due to them being too heavy for his feet or too flimsy that they are quickly ruined.
Serious lack of decent shoe shops in my town..

think the offside ones will be too trainer-like. school are quite strict on uniform.

will might be ok... we do normally go for start-rite actually, maybe i need to get me to a big shoe shop.

Have a look at either Geox or Ecco.
Both do school shoes.

DS had some 2 strap SR ones before and the Will ones are lighter
