Would appreciate opinions on these

I am 38, would intend to wear them for "everyday" e.g with capri length jeans/black trousers etc. Thanks.

Birkenstock rock - I've got patent red ones & love them even though they are now getting a little 'tatty'.

I just don't get gladiator sandals - ugly, all those straps & I just can't imagine they would be comfy, must get dreadful tan lines on feet.

Don't like the look of the sandals in the OP at all

What colour are your feet? This really makes a difference to the style and colour of sandal IMO. Also are your ankles thin, normal or podgy?

Bluey white and pinkey white feet are hardest for sandals.
Creamy white and olive are easier
Olive and coffee are easier still
Dark brown or black-skinned best of all

If you have white skin of any description those sandals are to be avoided at all costs.

Can you wear heels? This makes a difference as well. Do you want comfortable?

I like Hobbs - what about these?hobbs - salbow sandals

A friend sent me a link to a sandal shop recently - here

For me, I always like to be able to run in anything on my feet.

Fitflops are to be avoided at all costs and also gladiator sandals unless you are under 18.

If you like red,

these are cute

Strappy black, also available in white

Thank you all for the ideas and advice.

I will look at some of the links in more detail on my day off next week (have been at work almost constantly the last 3 days so a bit overwhelmed at the moment)

I have very pale white skin, slightly wide feet. My ankles are normal/slim I think. Well I am a dress size 8-10 and my ankles aren't noticeably out of proportion so not podgy!

My mother in law has those - she is in her 70s!

Agree the red shoes aren't great, sorry onepiece, guess you get the message by now! Birki gizeh are the only birks I'll wear, think they're lovely. I must be completely missing the attraction of the link to the Hasbeens, they look like the shoes in the op to me. Wonder if they were on the clark's website how they'd be rec'd.
