Have never had a pedicure before but have just been looking at my nearest salon for the prices of them They list a pedicure as £21 and then a "toe file and removal" as a seperate treatment for £11. What the hell is a toe file and removal? What on earth would they be removing?

I looked at pedicure prices before my wedding, simply to get my feet looking good...and was horrified at the prices! I went for one, but was given some very helpful advice. First, buy a Diamancel foot buffer... link and secondly buy some moisturising cream. Buff feet, then massage in the cream, then sleep in socks...continue routine for a week. Most of us spend no time at all pampering our feet, and a little TLC shows results very quickly!
Clip nails, and varnish....result!
The Diamancel foot buffer is expensive (£39), but well worth it...mine is still fine after six years.

I am considering paying £70 for a medical pedicure so that they can shave off the hard dry skin. [shamed face]

I'm having a Paraffin Pedicure tomorrow, must remember to wax my toes before I go.
