Actually I think on the right person it would work. It's quite interesting, and probaly hangs well.

It looks like a loony would be fashion student cut bits of their Mum's duvet covers up and tacked it together.

AND the cheek of it to sell it for almost £1000, outrageous, but I expect some victim will buy it.
