I've got three weddings to attend this year - May, July and August, when I will be 5, 6 and 8 months pregnant.

All of my maternity clothes from DS are frowzy as hell and maternity clothes in general, I find are just too frowzy. I also really resent spending a fortune on a dress that I won't wear beyond my pregnancy and that I wouldn't normally choose, but am resorting to because it fits.

I'm a size 10 normally and seem to get huge pregnancy boobs, but remain relatively small elsewhere. I like the idea of a maxi dress as my legs swelled to epic proportions last time round, but with the boobs.

Budget-wise, I'll go up to £100. Style-wise, I'll give anything a go - brunette with fair colouring.

I saw a leopard-print maxi in the Style section of the Times, but wonder if that might be taking things a bit far?

TIA

maxi

some lovely ones here. They are over budget but you get really good money on ebay for them after. I've just sold my Isabella Oliver dress for only £30 less than I bought it for (wore it 3 times, kept the box etc.)

Thanks - the first link looks promising.

I tried this on today, but while it looked good now, I think I'm forgetting how big a bump can get.

I'm not so into Isabella Oliver bits - I've got a few things and I'm not convinced that the quality matches the price.

I agree with you about Isabella Oliver tbh and I'd hate to spend that much on a dress but they do sell really easily

None maternity maxis might be ok if they're the right fabric/shape. I tried one on the other day which would easily have fitted me with a big bump here
