Am currently scouring shops and web for a nice smart dress I can wear to a wedding which will enable easy breastfeeding. Anyone seen anything good?

I had a rather posh wedding at Canary Wharf recently - none of the breastfeeding dresses I found were any good, all made of jersey material and looked like long t-shirts. Perfect for holidays and casual Sunday lunches maybe but not 'THE Wedding' IYKWIM

In the end I wore a beautiful strapless dress from Debenhams - all boned with lovely support for tummy/boobs and got a woolen wrap to go over the top (suitable because Canary Wharf in March is bloody cold). I could pop a boob over the top of the dress, under the wrap and no-one knew a thing - DD was fed in the church during the service !

Probably helps that DD is a superbaby and not at all sicky so quite a 'safe' exercise.

I felt and looked (I'm told) fantastic and not mumsy at all !

We did have to book a hotel room for the reception - no children at all allowed - so from the Eastwinter Gardens I was popping across a footbridge to the Hilton and our babysitters to quickly feed DD then triptrapping back to continue the celebrations !
