Any tips on toning up wobbly belly please?
I have 6 weeks to tone up.

Exercise lots (you need cardio to shift the fat plus strengthening exercises for abs and back - plank is good, running great for toning up abs as is kickboxing), drink lots of water and watch what you eat. Or you can do the 30 day shred dvd (20 mins a day -various threads on it on here) which will have a similar effect if you push yourself.

Thanks ds! I am a bit of a couch potato (slimmish but wobbly) - will this dvd be too hard for a novice like me?

It is a killer - but is only 20 minutes of pain...

Oh God I am going to have to bite the bullet ...

I was hoping the advice would be just do a bit of sit ups or something

No bread easier than the terrible sounding physical jerks.

I am on a wobbly belly mission myself and I discovered by another thread on here that I have an abdominal diastasis where the muscles separated when pregnant. However - I discovered the following website and I am sure that the exercises will assist in flat stomachdom for anyone, even if you don't have a diastasis - she says crunches and sit ups only bulk up the tummy as they push the muscles out the wrong way:

Julie Tupler Website:

www.maternalfitness.com/diastasis.html

www.fitpregnancy.com/general/40871562.html?page=1- follow through the links to see how to get up from bed properly to avoid making the diastasis any larger

I am 7 weeks post emcs and I have an 8 finger width diastasis. I have been following the exercises shown on her website for 2 weeks and my physio saw a reduction in the diastasis. I had an extra large bump from early on and my baby was 10lbs 1oz.
Also she says it works no matter how long ago you had a baby. HTH

meant to add that the exercises can be done sitting so even at your desk, watching tv etc - not too painful either and i am seeing a def improvement, although I still have jelly belly from the baby to move aswell
