Between winter and spring/summer.

I have lived in leggings with calf-length Fly boots and long tops all winter, and have no clue what to wear now the weather is getting warmer (and I have to ditch my beloved boots) .

So. What to buy? I have horribly fat calfs and hate exposing my toes. I would like to keep wearing leggings as they're so comfy; but how to make them flattering without my boots? Pumps?

I'm not keen on heels for during the day although can stretch to wedges.

Any clothing/shoe ideas very welcome

Oh, and I have limited funds so generally require my footwear to be all things to all men e.g. comfy and goes with everything.

I would go for some cropped trews and some closed toe wedges or clog type things

Thanks cyb.

I think the trouble is that I like my footwear to be quite casual without looking sporty iyswim.

I have been having the same thoughts. How about smart trainers? or ballet pumps?

nickschick · 15/04/2010 00:10

rocket dog pumps??

Amandoh · 15/04/2010 01:01

I've swapped skinny jeans and boots for skinnies with ballet flats. Not warm enough for sandals/flip flops just yet and nothing to do with my feet not being Summer ready you understand.

Thinking about ordering a pair of [http://www.boden.co.uk/en-GB/Womens-Shoes/Flats/AR421/Womens-Satin-Plimsolls.html?NavGroupID=134 these] as they look lovely in the photo in Red Magazine. Too sporty for you?

Oops. I forgot to double the square brackets. I'll try again...
