to wear with jeans, chino-y trousers etc. What does anyone think of these Geox - Grin or Katy (sorry, can't do a link to actual sytles) www.geox.com/collection/catalogo.asp##p

Are they dowdy (in the nude/natural colours). Would love ballet pumps but find it really hard to get comfortable shoes. Havne't seen above IRL. TIA

Personally, I think the Grin ones are a bit frumpy. The Katy ones are fine though

pippop1 · 14/04/2010 21:52

Some flyflot styles are OK and very comfortable.

Millie1 · 14/04/2010 21:59

Thanks! Yes, wondered about the Grin style. Shall have to try to get to a Geox shop. Thanks for the Fly Flot info Pippop - had a look online and they're not really 'me' IYKWIM.

New Look have a HUGE range of ballet pumps! Not horribly cheap looking either I dont think.

I sometimes struggle but have just had some really comfy ones from Next. They're lime green though here

tethersend · 14/04/2010 22:10

These look pretty good

Millie1 · 14/04/2010 22:15

Oh, i like those - thank you. I think a trip to the shops is in order

I liked both. And I'm interested in finding some nice loafer-type shoes. Saw some in lime green the other day.

but I'm never quite sure about loafers. Sorried it might be construed as frumpy, given my years.

tethersend · 14/04/2010 22:32

I have my eye on these

NorkilyChallenged · 15/04/2010 06:52

Those green Next ones are surprisingly lovely. I've had mixed results with Next shoes int he past (1 pair hugely comfy for ages, another pair fell apart quite quickly and weren't very comfy anyway).

I have to say that I've got my head round ballet flats (even though they're not hugely comfy for my old lady feet) but cannot see loafers as anything but frumpy I'm afraid. Especially the ones with tassles.

No to the grins.
