Delivery from M&S website- does it really take a week?

Im just ordering some new pants online at &S and the delivery date is showing as 19 April- a week today! I can collect in store apparently but even that the earliest date is the 17th April.

Has anyone ordered online from there before, does it really take as long as it says? I need new pants NOW!

i ordered pants last sunday and they arrived friday.

Well thats the fun of M&S online - you just never know how long it will take.

Seriously their website and delivery are utterly crap.

they use royal mail and the stuff comes with the normal post, im sometimes lucky to get my orders at all!

Thank you for the advice all- do you think I should go collection in sore then? is there any chance it would come in earlier than it says it will?
