relaxing bath & other stuff

friend is having a nightmare at work, and am trying to encourage her to relax, even if just for an hour or so. Want to make her a "relaxation" hamper to take off to the bathroom for a little while - candles, small bottle of bubbly (not being tight, large bottle = hangover = not good for her right now)!; chocolates..... and something to put in her bath & body lotion. Are there any bath products which genuinely help you relax or is it all hype? Not very "up" on aromatherapy etc so would welcome any ideas as to best bath products etc to buy her. And any other ideas for the hamper. Thanks.

How about a bottle of lavender essential oil to add a few drops to her bath? Smells lovely and can also be sprinkled on a tissue to breathe at any time to help relax her.Hope this helps. You sound like such a lovely thoughtful person to be doing something like this for someone. She is lucky to have you as her friend!

The Boots Botanics bubble baths are nice. They do one in a clear glass bottle that is on the shelf with all their body lotions etc. Or they do ones in darker glass bottles that are near the medicine, with the bach Flower remedies, essential oils etc.
They have names like 'Forget The Day' iirc.

And another vote for lavender oil.

thanks both, will take a look in Boots tomorrow. I just hope she'll be able to enjoy even a little bit of respite
