Your mission should you choose to accept it is to find me a swimsuit that is long in the body, comes in a 32 H cupsize, with tummy control and won't make me look like my grandma or require a mortgage.

Impossible?

i have heard marvellous htings about landsend swimsuits

SuSylvester · 08/04/2010 17:55

figleaves
next

is it for exercise or for holiday?

trixymalixy · 08/04/2010 19:21

It's for taking the kids for their weekly swimming lesson, but also for our holiday in Denmark in June. I just want a plainish black one, but not too sporty looking.

I've looked in bravissimo, figleaves, next, m&s, long tall sally and simply be.

None of them seem to have a combination of cup sizing and a longer body though.

this is my favourite I have found so far, but it doesn't look like it will flatter my huge norks particularly.

this is expensive but everyone swears it is worth it

I have one of the miraclesuits designed for larger cup sizes, in dark brown. It was over £100 but was worth every penny. It's plain enough for regular swimming with DS, but the wraparound effect makes it nice enough for the beach.

I am also long in the body and find it very difficult to find swimsuits that are comfortable.

Land's End IS very good. I'm v pleased with mine from there. I got a mix n match tankini, their tops are adjustable in length, so good for long bodies. Soft cup, underwired etc god for us big norks. Side gathers/ties make it flattering.

I would love one of the miraclesuits and the land's end one is lovely, but my budget is about £40ish.

trixymalixy - the code SPRING1104 will give you £10 off if you spend over £40 at Lands End before Sunday if that's any help. Most of my swimming stuff comes from there.

BikeRunSki · 09/04/2010 12:48

I christened my Land's End one last night, 50 lengths up and down, ab fab.

I bought the seaspray one in the end and it is nearly perfect. If it just gave my boobs a bit more of a lift then it would be. The diagonal bits are really flattering.
