Not highbrow I realise but I'm curious.

Also, are you going out or house-mooching?

And if you don't mind...what sort of age are you?

janeite · 05/04/2010 18:14

Love the idea of mooching with intent.

RedBlueRed · 05/04/2010 18:17

I love the 4 changes NomDePlume you sound very glamourous.

Happy Birthday Lizzylou!

I'm 35 and mooching.
I am wearing some faded and worn jeans that are too big for me so gape under my belt and a brown threadbear cowlneck jumper with my nan's thermal vest and no bra.
I'm a catch I know...

Thanks for posing everyone.
Keep em coming!

I am mooching at home with DCs and cooking a curry. I am wearing:

gap long and lean jeans
purple and grey striped fat face top
purple converse trainers

This sort of outfit is my usual weekend wardrobe really.

Am mid 30s.

cyteen · 05/04/2010 18:21

Hehe, posing works too except with me, since I am wearing my pyjamas. Went for a run this morning and then to the allotment this afternoon, so have spent most of the day in filthy sportswear. There didn't seem much point getting dressed after a 5.30pm shower.

CoupleofKooks · 05/04/2010 18:22

i am 38 and house mooching but for some reason i am wearing a monsson skirt, smart top and fancy necklace
oh with one of dp's jumpers shoved over the top
when i got up i thought we were going out
then it was cold and the thing we were going to go to if it was cold, was cancelled, and then i got a headache

well you did ask

janeite · 05/04/2010 18:23

Do all of you keep your shoes on in the house? I realise that this is a question which may well divide Mumsnet but I just find it so uncomfortable. Mine come off the moment I walk through the door, if not before!

wukter · 05/04/2010 18:23

29 & mooching.
Black yoga pants
Black scoop neck t with big buttons
Blue cardi with metallic threads through it.
Soft black wedges

Elegant

cyteen · 05/04/2010 18:27

janeite, no, I too hate wearing shoes in the house and if possible will even take them off - gasp! - round at friends' houses.

DP on the other hand will happily wear his shoes around the house, or at least he did until I opened his eyes to slippers.

traceybath · 05/04/2010 18:32

I always wear shoes in the house. Even if its just uggs. In fact thats the only place my uggs do get worn.

monkeysmama · 05/04/2010 18:32

Janeite my clothes come off the moment I come through the door! I'm not a nudie - I wear house clothes at home and get dressed properly only if and when I am off out.

I've decided to dress as if it is spring no matter what. I'm wearing a pair of grey Current/Elliot skinny jeans, these (attempting to work the double denim look), a grey long sleeve tshirt, my grey leather jacket from Paris and a grey and pale pink leopard print scarf from River Island. I had my grey Gap Pea Coat on earlier too because I was cold and succumbed to the lure of my Uggs for ten minutes but I wore my new Chanel silver sunnies too to keep up the illusion of a nice spring day.

monkeysmama · 05/04/2010 18:34

Oh, and I'm 33 and had a house full of kids this morning before a trip to the pub and home cooking Easter meal for 14 people .

PortBlacksandDweller · 05/04/2010 18:34

Never wear shoes in the house and very rarely in the garden - love having bare feet.

Green floaty trousers
Green floaty shirt (v. long - down to knees)
Orange and green vest top underneath

Am in hippy floaty mooochy mood today.

Am 36

Dark blue jeans, green tunic top.

I've been outside twice today. Once to the supermarket when I wore some brown flat bar fastening shoes and a long brown cardi over the top of my top. Once out into the garden to sow some seeds, when I wore my wellies!

I am 32.

RedBlueRed · 05/04/2010 20:03

Thank you as I do yours - tho I am a bit slow on the uptake today and it brought to mind boating until I twigged!
