they have hair dryers. They have mirrors in changing rooms, you need towels if using wet things.

brimfull · 02/04/2010 19:15

are the hairdryers any good
the ones in our swimming pool are crap

are oyu doign a day or visiting buddies?

nannynick · 02/04/2010 19:31

How come you are going for just one day? Are you on a Spa Day, or meeting up with friends who are on holiday there?
Which Center Parcs (though I expect they are all mostly the same).

If Longleat and it's a Spa Day, then at the AquaSana (Spa) there are hand held hairdryers which are good. They provide a towel and a robe. Don't know about makeup arrangements (as I haven't been in the womens changing room) but in the mens there are two areas with a mirror... no seat though. £1 coin for the locker (it is returned).

If you are going into the main swimming pool (rather than the Spa) then take everything you may need. Hairdryers at Longleat are like handdryers, just positioned higher up... so not that great.

you used to be able to buy day passes

brimfull · 02/04/2010 20:27

There may not be a plug socket. Not trying to be negative just realistic.

Have been to two different CP sites, both had "hand dryers" in changing rooms to dry hair with.

Yes, it will be a bit of a scrum ime. if your dh's family have a chalet, could you nip back there to do hair/make up if that would be more relaxing for you?

brimfull · 02/04/2010 20:51

yes that's probably a better idea, thanks

There is often a hair dryer in one of the bedrooms of the villa. It may not be that great... so if you want something good - take your own. You won't be able to take your hair dryer to the pool... so you will need to walk from the pool to the villa with wet hair... look at the maps on the website to get an idea of how far that will be.
