We are going to 3 weddings this summer, luckily all with different people so I'm hoping to wear the same outfit for all 3.

I'm petite, 5'1" and size 8. In my early forties and simply haven't got a clue what to wear.

Could travel to Birmingham or Manchester if I really have too, but was hoping to get something more local.

Suggestions please

Local to where?

Okie dokie thin person

Do you have preferred colours, what kind of shape are you, short or long length, do you like sleeves or no? What's your budget?

Let's begin:

phase eight

Have a look around their website generally. Always fab. IMO, steer clear of Monsoon and Coast if you don't want to turn up wearing same as someone else...

aftershock

maxi for petites

ditsy floral This model is hilarious.

if budget is higher, love nicole farhi

but don't stand like that

Give us a bit of a steer...

Thanks for your post Money. We are sort of in the middle of Manchester, Chester and Birmingham. I should have said that I would prefer to get an outfit either online or at the types of shops you would expect to find in a large town/small city.

The phase eight dresses look fabulous, thanks for the links. Are phase eight petite?

Don't really know about the length or colour.

Thanks for your tips about Monsoon and Coast, will bear that in mind.

Any more suggstions anyone?
