Tights? No tights? Leggings? Help!!!

Hi!

I am going to a christening this weekend I am thinking of wearing a lovely soft grey knitted dress from Monsoon (can't link as it went in the sale, but it's just above the knee, crossover at the bust, a band just under the bust, 3/4 sleeves,) and some heather coloured suede shoes that I already have. Then I can add some nice beads, wrap etc to dress it up a bit.

But I'd need something to cover my blue scaly legs, so do I wear tights and what colour? I'd normally wear leggings with this type of dress, but I don't think this might be too casual.

TIA

No leggings.

How about some plum coloured tights? Or even natural?

What are the shoes like?

Thanks Tethersend! I was worried that natural tights were now only worn by old ladies!! They might look best as the shoes are quite light. They are just a court, 3" heel, round toe with bow detail - sound like minnie mouse shoes when I write it down, but they are lovely and the colour looks really nice with the grey in the dress.

Go with natural tights... there are some nice ones now.
