I found colours not quite right
And not enough coverage, but nice and moisturising
Will await your review

Pinner35 · 25/03/2010 17:57

I have it.....tis fab.

claricebeansmum · 25/03/2010 18:00

I have and love.
Slap it on and can't feel it.

WeeShuggy · 25/03/2010 18:02

ooh, my fave! Hope you love it too. Did you not get chance to try it on first?

traceybath · 25/03/2010 18:05

I used to use it in nude but switched to vitalumiere.

I found it didn't last terribly long.

WeeShuggy · 25/03/2010 18:36

That's interesting tracey, I've seen threads recommending vitalumiere, but also saying that it's better suited to darker skin types. I use LM in nude too, so I thought it probably wouldn't suit me.

So, how does the vitalumiere compare?

traceybath · 25/03/2010 18:52

I prefer the vitalumiere and am fairly pale skinned - just gives more of a glow.

But my skin is dry and think vitalumiere works best on dry skin.

expatinscotland · 25/03/2010 18:53

I love it! I can't use Vitalumiere as I have combination skin prone to spots.

flyingdoll · 25/03/2010 19:36

Ive been using Laura Mercier tinted moisteriser for a while, i love it! Bought into it pre pregnancy though, when i had money and spending 32 quid on my face seemed like a reasonable thing to do. Not any more boo hoo.

LaurieFairyCake · 25/03/2010 19:39

I just bought Vitalumiere (cream in a pot, not the liquid) as they've started doing a lighter colour

I wear Clair (no.20) in summer but it's too dark for winter (so I've been using a Stila one).

The new colour is no. 10 Limpide. No idea how long it's been out.

I think it's cheap at £32 - lasted me a year last time.

hellsbelles · 25/03/2010 19:59

I love vitalumiere...I do have combination skin but I don't use it all over the face (just on red checks and round nose)...it's amazing.

WeeShuggy · 25/03/2010 20:02

tracey, what is the Vitalumiere equivalent of LM Nude please?

SuSylvester · 25/03/2010 20:02

god limpide is pale

i am
beige

SuSylvester · 25/03/2010 20:02

i htink in LM I Was sand?

traceybath · 25/03/2010 20:03

I think its clair - but I do tend to always have a little fake tan on as well to take away my ghostly pallor.

traceybath · 25/03/2010 20:04

Chanel very good at giving samples for you to try.

SuSylvester · 25/03/2010 20:05

LM cheap at JL atm

brimfull · 25/03/2010 20:08

How is laura marcier on combination skin?
vitalumiere slides off my face

Today I wore my bobbi brown stick foundation that has been sulking in my makeup drawer for ages , nearly finished.
The colour was brillinat on me ..think it's sand, but again too oily-lasted a few hrs before it was gone.
BB has fab colours I think

brimfull · 25/03/2010 20:09

They do LM at JL ???

WeeShuggy · 25/03/2010 20:10

Thanks ladies (I presume )

SuSylvester · 25/03/2010 20:10

its down to £28

cornsilk · 25/03/2010 20:10

I put the LM over beauty flash balm and it goes on a treat.

brimfull · 25/03/2010 20:11
