lovely funky little outfit for my DD who will be 4

To wear on her birthday - she is wearing her party dress for her party but on the actual day of her birthday I am looking for something funky that she can wear all day and at nursery (they will be having a cake for her there, so I am told)

I have checked out boden because boden are a great fit for her (she is long legged, long armed etc) but nothing there I particulary liked.

I am not wanting to spend a fortune, but if it was just a top and she would wear with her existing skinnies, then I don't mind a bit more.

She likes purple and pink.

Have you looked at the Next website? Their spring collections are quite nice for girls this year.

Take a look at BonTon for gorgeous tops - lots of these would look fab with skinnies. There are some lovely brightly coloured cardigans too, if you want to splash out.

look at molo, very funky, i brought dd1 a gorgeous purple star print top and she loves it.
