what's the best foot cream?

trying to plan ahead and get my feet sorted in time for sandals. what's a good foot cream and should i get one of those pedi-egg things?

I'd go for a Ped-Egg.

Best thing I have found for feet - aqueous cream and cotton socks twice a day! Works a treat and costs pence!

I have found the Scholl Rough Skin Remover scrub, followed by Scholl Moisturising foot cream is very effective.

I keep the foot cream by my bed and slather it on before hitting the sheets

Vick works like a dream.I have horrid feet due to wearing wellies a lot,but 3 nights of putting on Vick and a pair of socks overnight,and a quick go over with a ped egg [Avon's cheapie one] and they are smoother than they've ever been.Even dh commented on them.

flexitol foot cream is magic

flexitol is great, smells abit odd - medical smell. The tube lasts forever.

i found the ped egg useless, just made the skin even rougher and dry, have a body shop sander thing which is much better.

It smells funny because it's got piss in it, which is also the reason it works so well.

Body shop foot file + flexitol.

Barielle is fantastic. It was originally developed for race horses, and I imagine that their feet are pretty calloused!

I like flexitol also, but Neutogena have now brought out a foot cream which works even better for me, the softness lasts a couple of days.

I like the Compeed cracked heel cream.

Scholl foot file with purple handle is the best file I have used.......much better then ped egg imho.

Flexitol is amazing........ Use both and baby feet will be yours in a few days!

Get your self a Body Shop File a Foot and some Hemp Foot Protector (smells earthy, but better than wee!) and if you can, sleep in cotton socks.
It's amazing.

Ped eggs are crap.

Doesn't the cream jkust sink into the cotton socks instead of into your foot? I've alwats heard that you should wear cotton socks but I don't understand why!

Try Boots Intensive Softening Foot Cream. Contains urea like Flexitol but also fruit acids. Have tried both and found this more effective and quicker acting. It is also much cheaper and Boots have a 3 for 2 offer on footcare products at the moment.

Agree with other posters about putting cotton socks on after applying the cream - makes a big difference.

Cotton socks lock in the moisture and act as another barrier Bodenbabe
They also let your skin breathe at the same time.

I really need to get out more.
