So, I'm fed up of my Mum moaning on about how she cannot find anything to wear and how it's all for 'you young 'uns'!! I can kind of see her point, but surely there must be somewhere she can get some nice stuff from that isn't frumpy or too young for her...?

She is a young 63, loves clothes, fashion, bright colours etc and is tall and about a size 14/16, but she has problems getting trousers/jeans with the body the right length, and also arm and leg length are a problem.

She doesn't like to spend too much as she's retired, but she's willing to spend high street prices, so please any ideas that will get me to throw away that flippin' 50 plus catalogue!!!

Long tall sally might work for her. The proportions are likel to be good and there's a mix of frankly nasty denim maxis and quite fashionable stuff. Not expensive and I've found the quality pretty good. M&S portfolio and Autograph also good for this age.

Thanks Wahwah! I've tried to get her onto LTS, but she says it's too expensive!! (even though I got some tops in the sale for £5!!) Also she had some of their trousers when they first came out (you used to have to hem them yourself!! ) and she said that she washed them once and they started to fall to pieces! As you can see, she's a tough customer to please!!

Will try again with the M&S ranges as I think that their stuff is nice this year!!

Thanks again!
