haircut whinge, here we go again.....

Please someone cheer me up.I have had my haircut very short.I am not a stranger to short hair,really like it actually,It is the shape of this one, I look like ant or dec circa 1992 v short at back long on top vile.I know besides getting a wig there is nothing I can do ,and of course it is only hair and will grow.In the meantime anyone got any tips or jokes to put a smile back on my old gimmer How long will it take to grow to shoulder length.

Whe I cut my hair short and didn't like it, I bought a real hair pony-tail from Revlon, on the top floor at Selfridges, cost about 120 pounds but saved my life. I bought one exactly the same as my dark blonde hair colour. Took it to my salon and had them put highlights in it. Because it then got washed it took off the really fake glossy look and made it a bit more real. Plus had it cut short, long looks fake and silly, it just touched the nape of my neck when it was pinned in. It wasn't one of those awful clip in ones. It was the kind they have in films, where it is on a circle coil and you pin it in with bobby pins. So I would pin all my short hair in a tiny circle and put pins in the stray bits then pin this thing on everyday, it allowed me to grow my hair without getting annoyed and I still use it sometimes as it looked so nice.
