nursery are going on a trip next week to a farm and ds needs a waterproof coat.

his winter coat is too small and i can't find/ stomach buying another with spring on its way.

where would be a good place to get a waterproof for him?

he wears a large fleece instead of his coat at the mo so would prob wear his waterproof on top.

i don't want to spend lots as TBH he's not walking yet so is only outdoors in the buggy/ on route to the car

If its just a pack a mac type jacket you want asda have them or the cheapy shops like peacocks, bwise, qs etc....put a fleece under it.

Muddy puddles sent me a booklet with various waterproof clothing but it was expensive. Too be honest i think wellies, a pac a mac and spare trousers will be fine.

there are some for sale 2ndhand in the children's clothes for sale topic (not from me) which might be a quick, cheap way to get one!

Muddy Puddles is worth the money, imo. Both my boys have had them. Their sizing is very roomy. Each DC has had 2 years wear from them - meaning they have lasted at least 4 years and they still look as good as new. They are cut to fit properly over clothes and are very good quality fabric.

We started off with the dungarees and jacket and now have trousers and jacket instead.

I second muddy puddles. My (nearly) 5yr old DD1 is still wearing her 2-3 year old rainflex suit, which was passed on from an older child. DD2 is waiting patiently for her to grow out of it!

May be a bit pricey, but they last a very long time.

I've got an all in one that you could have for a fiver if you like? I've been meaning to bung it on the for sale boards but forgot.
