Is it too early for the School Run Dress 2010?

Forecast of 14 degrees this week - positively balmy.

DD is itching to get out of her pinafores and into her gingham school dress, so I need suggestions for the 2010 SRD.

I did like this as a contender but the catazine chat means I can't buy it

number one is too formal

the wallis one i got last year( on av three compliments per wearing) was almost there i think was a bit like htis in navy wore with denim jackay and strappy flats

I don't even do the school run as dd is 13! I have seen a few nice dresses in mags but they are never on the websites when you look for them.
