non surgical face lift treatment-any good

have been given one for mothers day
supposed to be a course of 10
I have voucher for first one

am secretely somewhat about them
any experience as I can change the treatment

My mate had them where you hold a pole and they put electric current through but she ahd a course.

Which one is it? Is it some brand of treatment? Have you looked on makeupalley?

Did you just get a voucher for the first one or for the whole course?

yes go for a peel. ONE part of a ten part treatment is a waste by itself.

it's first one of course of 10 the voucher is for so have told them I am exchanging it for a peel

No, it was something cheap. Now I'm embarrassed, I had it in my head that it was you that recommended it but I'm not sure. I will need to search properly.

Is Dior Skinflash good? I have been using the Laura Mercier and want to try something new.

I used to have CACI (Non Surgical Facelift) from aged 32, stopped at 38 and can't see that it made any difference.

I've had Fillers which are great and considering a treatment called Titan, which heats the deep layers of the skin, encouraging Collagen production, seems to have good reviews, along with a similar treatment called Thermage. Both are non invasive.

I found them really painfull and expensive. When I go for a facial I like to relax!! Same with the peel never worked on my sensitive skin. Im saving for botox now.

Monadami - which fillers? I would like something other than botox for my forehead lines. They are Gordon Ramsey sized. He looks good in his (I think) - I don't.

ggirl - it was L'oreal Resurfacing Primer or something like that. I will put the Avon one on the list, too, thanks!

I had Juvederm JJ, but there are loads of different ones like Restylane, Perlane etc. My Surgeon said Juvederm gives a soft look, the results were very dramatic and lasted about 9 months.

I don't know if fillers can be used for the forehead, as it needs to be massaged into the area being filled to give an even appearance, but best to find out from a BAAPS registered Cosmetic Surgeon.

Monadami - sigh, you're right. It looks like Botox or forehead lift for forehead lines. Are you in London - can you recommend someone if so?

For my Fillers JJ, I used a Surgeon called Mr Lawry Iregbulem, he works through Profile Cosmetic Surgery, Google them. I also had Liposuction and Scar Revision surgery with him and was very happy with the results. His consultations are in Harley Street and surgery carried out in a Private Hospital in North London or one in Cambridge.

I think there may be new fillers on the market which can now be used in the forehead.

What about botox, how do you know where to go to get it done? Who's good etc.

I'd love to get it but am afraid that i'll go to someone who isn't that great. Its not the sort of thing that people are chatting about on the school run!

Probably best to go through recommendation. My surgeon also does Botox, but I've never had it.

thanks. I don't think that any of my friends will have a Botox recommendation. Will a GP be able to help out with a recommendation do you think?

I think Botox is a relatively easy procedure for a qualified surgeon. Many Dentists also do it as well.

Only ever use a BAAPS registered surgeon to administer Botox, ask to see before and after pics of their own work and never go to any of these Beauty Salons offering Botox. Understanding of the facial muscles and structure is very important and only a medically trained person with know.

Vaguely on topic, I love Philosophy's microdelivery peel for at home stuff.
