Yeah or nay?

I want something chunky, high and a bit retro.
Hasbeens all seem sold out everywhere.

I like those, miles better than those hideous things from Clarkes that you linked to a while ago.

janeiteisFedUp · 13/03/2010 18:01

Nay. I didn't see the Clarks ones you linked to but they often have some cute wedges.

moondog · 13/03/2010 18:01

lol

They weren't so hot when I go them and went back pdq.

I really want these but can't find buggers for love nor money.

OP posts:
janeiteisFedUp · 13/03/2010 18:03

They are gruesome imho! Better than the Fly ones though.

moondog · 13/03/2010 18:05

Who wear Fly stuff then?
What is demographic?

OP posts:
janeiteisFedUp · 13/03/2010 18:07

I have some brown suede Fly shoes but they are very uncomfortable (too wide for me) so I don't wear them much. They are nowhere near as rubbery and clunky looking as those in your link though.

peggotty · 13/03/2010 18:09

I lurve 'em. Have a red pair. They're v comfy and people often compliment them. Not sure ot the 'demographic'. I am 34

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 13/03/2010 18:10

I like the first ones.

I've got fly boots. they're buggered if that means anything for their demographics though

IngridFletcher · 13/03/2010 18:15

I've got these I think they are nicer

They are very very comfy and look good with skirts or trousers.

moondog · 13/03/2010 18:17

Yes, they are nice.I like hiiiigh though.

Also teeny bit worried that Fly shoes worn by art teachers in large comprehensives (the kind that wear ceramic jewellery)

What do you reckn to these from Banana Republic?

Do thry do internet sservice in UK?

OP posts:
cornsilk · 13/03/2010 18:21

yay to fly sandals. Moondog what about these?

peggotty · 13/03/2010 18:21

hahaha i couldn't be further from a ceramic jewellery wearing art teacher in a large comprehensive. Those Banana republic sandals are a bit wag-esque.

AnyFucker · 13/03/2010 18:21

love the sandals in the OP

moondog · 13/03/2010 18:22

Yes, I attempt to reconcile my two halves-seventies hippy style with tarty side too.

Corn, they start promising but that back strap is worrying......

OP posts:
janeiteisFedUp · 13/03/2010 18:23

Noooooooo to the Banana Republic ones. Sorry!

moondog · 13/03/2010 18:24

You don't have to be sorry.
Honest opinion is what I am after.

OP posts:
MaryMotherOfCheeses · 13/03/2010 18:26

I like those red fly ones very much. In fact, i migth get them myself!

No to the Bananarepublic ones though.

cornsilk · 13/03/2010 18:31

theseany better?

SweetEm · 13/03/2010 18:33

Fly Yuna are great - v comfy. I am shit at art, shit at teaching and don't own any ceramic jewellery, btw.

Love the Hasbeen superhighs and love the sandals in the OP. Banana republic ones are hideous.

cornsilk · 13/03/2010 18:36

I have these.They were a bargain from Amazon - about £25 I think.Can'tfind themon there now.

tethersend · 13/03/2010 18:38

How about these? Or these?

If you really want the hasbeens, have you looked on US sites? Would you pay the shipping cost? They are here for example, but I've no idea whether they would ship or how much that may cost.

moondog · 13/03/2010 19:23

Nice Corn, very nice.
Tether, they would clobber you for import tax though.
D&G and others are groovy. Am in shock at latter being Scholl. Blimey!

OP posts:
MinnieMalone · 13/03/2010 19:38

They really are hideous, sorry

tethersend · 13/03/2010 19:40

I know! Who knew about Scholl?

I quite fancy these
