What shoes do you wear with a maxi dress?

I would have thought that heels are out as it would be easy to trip up on them.

i've got one for a wedding and am thinking shoe-boots....

I'd say flat gladiator sandals or wedges if you want height.

Not convinced shoeboots would work - do you have links?

you might want heels still though, especially to look extra tall and swishy. Obviously practice walking beforehand to make sure it isn't going to annoy you.

I think flats fine - yet give it a more beachwear look than smart

It is smart so shoe boots may work - if you're buying new ones to go with the dress I'd try on lots of different styles. But if you already have shoe boots then stick with them - its not as though anyone's going to see much of your shoes anyway.
