She's not that bad. I think she gets a bad press.

YoginiBikini · 06/03/2010 19:13

Fiona Twillips is so irritating but I also felt some warmth towards her regarding her parents dementia.

People often ask me about my skincare

Bet she posts here a lot on AIBU

FP is one of those people who is BLOODY annoying onscreen and actually V nice in RL

LKelly is the complete opposite
I met and worked with both in a former life, expecting to loathe the former and come away NBFF with the latter.

Couldn't have been farther from the truth
FP was warm, funny, professional, intelligent.
LK was frosty, rude and up her own large arse.

Heated · 06/03/2010 19:17

Why is she moaning? She's earnt in excess of 300,000 last year.

Couldn't stand her hb Martin Frizzell and his style of news "journalism".

There used to be a bit of a joke he was Damien Day from Drop the Dead Donkey (played Stephen Tompkinson) whose goal was always to make his stories as sensational as possible, through exaggeration or misrepresentation. When filming a firing-squad execution in a South American dictatorship, Damien asked the officer for a retake so he could make the execution look better.

NumberOneEnemy · 06/03/2010 19:18

he is in private eye this week

i like her, she has character and shows the world that her life can be as sh*t as the next person's.

champagnesupernova · 06/03/2010 19:21

stephen tompkinson? in P eye? How come?

NumberOneEnemy · 06/03/2010 19:26

and MASSES of money!

JollyPirate · 06/03/2010 19:55

Ah but masses of money makes no difference if you are watching someone you love deteriorate.. It's the one thing money cannot cure.

My DH did some work with a man who worked on GMTV who said FP was lovely and that others (naming no names) were up their own....

lovechoc · 06/03/2010 19:59

FP tells it like it is, unlike a lot of celebs out there. She tells you that things in life are difficult for her, unlike others who claim to have it all and never have any problems with family or money etc. Good for her showing the world that she is just a human being and does have her worries like the rest of us.

I know she has looked at the local state schools for her ds. Don't know if she will use them but a point in her favour.

MarineIguana · 06/03/2010 21:37

Blimey I don't know much about her nor have seen her on telly, but that article is very honest! Is there anything she hasn't shared about her home life, family, marital rows, finances etc? That's what I would be like talking to someone when quite drunk - then I would wake up the next day and think "oh shite". Kind of makes me warm to her though. And she looks fab for 50 methinks.

FairyMum · 06/03/2010 21:38

I like her.

higgle · 07/03/2010 10:56

She is a lot younger than me and has twice as many wrinkles - advert for Olay? I son't be buying any!
