Before I Veet my tache, I really need to know

am I going to get stubble? Because I'd rather have a tache as it is now than look like Desperate Dan and I am really getting quite obsessed by this. How does it grow back? The same as before you Veeted?

I used to Veet mine.

It didn't go stubbley, no.

Stopped veeting it though when beasuty therapy lady told me there was nothing there to remove...

Dont do it!! Really recommend that you go and get it waxed instead! I spent years 'veeting' until I discovered professional lip waxing and wish I had discovered it earlier - regrowth is barely visible and is finer.

Also, it isn't too expensive - less than four pounds and I go every four weeks.

I have veeted and I have gone to have it waxed - veet is fine as long as you're careful and use the wipe they give you afterwards. You'll be rather pink right after so unless you want everyone to know what you've just done, try and do it when you won't be seen for an hour or so afterwards
I think waxing at a salon gives a better result because I always seem to miss little bits but veet won't leave you stubbley.

Thanks all - I feel duly reassured . Will check out the waxing option as well.

Hasled -if you have a fair old tache (sorry, but you did mention Desperate Dan!), going to the salon first would probably be a good choice as they can remove it so in future you can just keep on top of it with the veet. Otherwise you might find you get sore if you need to veet a lot away IYKWIM
They often do your chin for you while they're at it which I find handy seeing as I have a rogue hair that I seem to miss when I do it myself

Thanks - will do.

I wax myself at home - it is painful the first time but it's so quick and it's much better than using cream.

I found the regrowth after cream to be stubbly, so I wax every 3-4 weeks.

notquitenormal · 03/03/2010 13:11

I've just started waxing mine at home...now there's too much of it to pluck individually.

I find it a lot easier than when I tried cream and the regrowth isn't back at all.

If I had the time, money, patience and pain threshold I would probably get it threaded. that's supposed to be very good.

The Boots facial waxing strips are quite good. Do it on clean skin but don't press them down too hard or they will be hard to rip off. Just do a little finger print sized bit at a time until you get the knack of it.
