Breast implants: finally decided to get them, had my consultation, now stressing about size - please advise!

After years of agonizing about whether I should do it, I have finally had a consultation and am preparing to put down my deposit. Very nervous!

My breasts are okay. I'm a size 6/8 (probably more an 8 these days), 5'3 1/2, and they're a B cup. Up until the consultation I was convinced one was smaller than the other but apparently I have spinal curvature which means I hold my body to the side. I have just always longed to have a curvier figure and have decided life is too short to deliberate for so many years on end so the decision is made.

But I'm not sure which size to go to. Would a small D be too large do you think? I just don't want to have a C and there be hardly any difference - but I also don't want huge look-at-me boobs, you know?

Any input appreciated...

This thread has hit a raw nerve with me. Before i had my DS 5 yrs ago i was a 32B. After BF for nearly a year i deflated to a positively flat chested 32A .

I'm currently BF'ing my 8 month old DD & although i've not been measured i wear a 32C bra, which fits fine. However i'm already getting down about what 'state' my boobs are going to be in when i finish bf'ing my DD. It's just so awful feeling so 'un-womanly' & it really gets me down. Especially when i know my 'mummy tummy' will stick out further than my boobs (which really wont be difficult)!

It still fills me with horror, the day my friend dragged me into m&s a couple of years ago to get me measured properly ("bet you're not as small as you think you are" ) only to come out of the changing rooms crying because yep, as expected, i do have the chest of a pre-pubescent teenager & nope you can't get anything other than a very un-sexy, child like t-shirt bra!!!

And 'ample breasted' friends suggestions of padded bras & chicken fillets really don't go down to well. After all, you still need something to start with to push up!

Sorry, that turned into a bit of a therapy session for me but alas it is a subject close to my heart (no pun intended ).

I would love to have a boob job but can't afford it so am very of you OP. Hope all goes well though & that you make the right choice for you re the size etc (i'm even more confussed about bra size now after reading this thread LOL!).

just wanted to say I know exactly how you feel..as mentioned earlier, I was a 34AA - so almost concave.

My only advice would be to say save your money . My op was about £3200, over 10 years ago.

Good on you for bf for a considerable time. Perhaps you could look into surgery & then you might decide it's not for you afterall...but at least it might take away the wanting ?

Hi, I have recently had bilateral breast augmentation. I’m 5ft5 and was size 6-8 on top and 8-10 on bottom. I was 30AA pre-op (lost breat volume years ago post feeding) and went for under muscle 200cc mid profile implants. Still tender on sides and numb on nipples, but apparently all normal. Boobs seem bigger at 3 was post op than planned... now fit 32C! Happy - added bonus, but asked for roughly full B... will my breasts get smaller when hey drop/ fluff or by wk 3 can I expect size to pretty much stay same even if shape changes a bit?
