If I want a pick me up but am skint, I always treat myself to a new scarf from Primark. Something lovely and bright which will perk me up, but is under £3. Bargain!

Bubble bath? I like M and S's rose one and the Sanctuary ones you get in Boots.

Eye-shadow? Ruby and Millie one, from Boots, in a dark colour, that you can wear every day as an eye-liner?

I don't do body creams; too difficult to find the time to put them on. But I find that when I do, they are a bit of a lift, because they make you smell nice, all over. Again, Sanctuary (Boots) do some lovely ones. And T K Maxx have some very fancy schmancy ones discounted. Spotted E. Coudray in there a while back. And there's nothing like buying a ridiculously indulgent item, at a reduced price, for making you feel a little indulged yourself.

Sorry you're feeling low.

I give myself a facial using Simple products - cheap and effective

Also a manicure with a funky shade from Rimmel or similar.
