Boys School trousers with wool... where?

After 9 years of buying M&S school trousers - the wool mix ones - I am giving up...
They have been out of stock of the grey ones (age 11) for months now, and I have just had an e-mail from Customer Services (sic ) in which they:

-misspelt my name

  • said the ones I want are being discontinued... but they should have some in by May (wtf?)
  • directed me to the nasty polyester ones despite me saying that I ONLY wanted the wool/mix ones...(other ones give DS a rash)

Anyone have any experience of wool mix ones from e.g. Next or John Lewis?

i didn't think john lewis did them. anyway they claim to be changing supplier and have had no new uniform stock for months now so they are waste of time.

i have given up in despair on uniform trousers - ds is 4 and everything is gigantic. i have seen other posters talk about gap chinos for older boys though.
