Does anyone else still wear a bikini?

I'm 35, size 10 32E boobs, small hips bit of a falbby belly that I'm trying to blitz and on holiday I always wear a bikini.

However I noticed last year on holiday at a group of family friendly gites I was the only one! And I was 6 months pg! All the other Mums were wearing sport style one pieces, I do at the gym or taking dcs swimming but not on holiday??! Am I a floozy for still wearing a bikini?

Also friend looked horrified when i suggested shopping for one saying her bikini days were long gone, she's 35 too, 2 dcs and from what i can see apart from being considerably shorter than me a size 8-10 too!

I wil; have to do some belly reduction/toning before I bare all this summer but does it make me wierd to still want to wear one?

It has never occurred to me that I could go on holiday and not wear a bikini.........and now this thought is in my head, I know that this year will not be so panic stricken weeks in advance

I may well have had "the best body on the beach" when I was 20.* Not that I appreciated it . . .

Now, 25 years on, I have an austrian blind tummy, varicose veins in my legs (but only a Victorian swimsuit would hide those) and cellulite that makes me look like I am wearing flesh-coloured leggings with a cauliflower motif.

However, I may consider wearing a bikini on holiday this summer. DH (blessim blessim) will say phwoar, I know from experience none of the beach beauties will bat an eyelid and my horrendous tummy might just look a bit better with a tan.

God, wish I had the nerve to take it all off.

Well, there are bikinis and bikinis and there is the beach and there are swimming pools. I wear a bikini at the beach but I certainly wouldn't wear a bikini IYSWIM. IMO I'd never wear one at swimming pool though, it just wouldn't seem right.

I'm 31, 34G and a 12/14. My tummy isn't pretty and my bikini top contains some serious engineering. But, fuck it, I'm not sweating in a one piece for the presumed judgments of total strangers (or friends, or family).

I have come to the conclusion that, without exception, women of all, shapes, sizes and ages (regardless of the condition of their skin) look better in a bikini than a one piece. Here 'on the continent' everyone wears a bikini, this is a Good Thing, particularly for the lush young things in their bikinis.

One pieces are awfully aging and a sign of low self esteem in the under 70s.

I think everyone feels a bit apprehensive revealing their milky white thighs on the first day of a holiday. I feel better as my tan gets under way. By the end of the hol I feel fab! The photos remind me I'm not as slim as I thought I was but by then it doesn't matter!

I'm 33 and didn't used to wear one in my 20s but now don't care. its not like anyone is going to see me that i care about.

Im 38 and wear a bikini, I always think that no matter how bad I think I look there is always someone worse.
And who cares? You're on holiday, its too hot to wear a sweaty one piece.
