Who wants to help me find a dress?

It is for DS2's christening in March. It needs to be black or grey. I need some kind of a sleeve to detract from arms. I have never had an arm issue before, and always used to wear straps or halter or even strapless but still have weight to lose although that is in hand.

I am an hour glass, flat stomach small waist- big hips, big saggy arse. Narrow back but big boobs. 32FF.

I had found this but it went out of stock as I added it to my basket

this is my new favourite.

I am between a 12 and 14 although will have lost 7lb or so by then, so will probably be a 12. I will be wearing magic knickers to lift problematic derriere.

Needs to go with black opaque tights and black shoe boots.

Budget is low.

I don't know either . I've got a perfectly gorgeous tulip dress already, but think I just fell in love with thr sequin one . Am in this paranoid state about my arms too. What do you think of my grey debenhams one?

Isn't it hard to find good selection of dresses with sleeves?

I like the warehouse one too with the long see through sleeve thingies, have you checked it's in stock elsewhere I have seen it on other sites I think maybe on John Lewis, Debenhams or House of Fraser sites.

I like the first two oliver bonas ones cahu, and haven't heard of that shop so thanks. I actually feel lovely in the one I've got (just tried it on now) but my arms look meaty . Need to get some tins of beans on the go. I am having a spray tan, so that may slim my arms. I need to go and try that Debenhams one on.

Diddl, the reason for the black or grey is because I take these things very seriously and have a colour theme and everything, so all the christening party are wearing black or grey.

I saw a lovely shrug thingy in -wait for it- Next yesterday! Twas grey, jersey, drapey/tie front, ruffled and padded shoulders with all lace at the back. Nice it were. Maybe something like that to give you the covered up feeling, or a wotsit, shawly thing.

Will have a look for that peril. I don't suit flouncy, drapy things, plain seems to suit (or make me feel) better. I have a pashmina to wear over my existing dress but it isn't really 'me'.
