OK, what's your favourite colour and when is the wedding (warmth requirement)?

i like the second one!

I look good in green but NOT red (or any variation of red) the wedding isnt til autumn, but we have a couple in between and Im hoping to wear it again.

everything i see seems to be prom style or maxi dress (which would swamp me)

i thought with your red hair and small stature, you would look great in green

queenoftheslatterns · 20/02/2010 21:35

its the only colour that never goes wrong. all redheads are either red or green wearers ime.

What's your budget?

BelleDameSansMerci · 20/02/2010 21:39

Can see why you're struggling to find something! Just can't see anything fabulous at all... Will give it some more thought.

about £120, could go up to £150 with some serious arm twisting though.

omg, just seen the original price! would love to go to wedding and say "yes, it is DVF, an absolute steal darling"

hee hee
I actually ordered the black one but it was just a bit tight under the arms. I'm a size 12 and 5'6'' - medium build. Might be an idea to go for the next size up or order two sizes. It's a gorgeous dress.

queenoftheslatterns · 20/02/2010 22:15

even dh likes it!!

That's got to be a good sign. The only thing I don't like about matches is that they deliver via DHL who are absolutely crap. Also delivery is expensive at £8.

queenoftheslatterns · 20/02/2010 22:21

i really resent paying more than £4 for delivery. unless its special delivery.

me too
ordered a dress last week I'd been watching for ages which had dropped in price, but it wasn't so nice when I tried it on. Trying to get DHL to collect it and return it now - that's the hard part.

queenoftheslatterns · 21/02/2010 21:24

would i need a us size 4 then if im an 8?

when were dhl supposed to pick up?
