Maternity dress needed for wedding

Hi Ladies,

Would anyone be kind enough to help find me a dress to wear to BIL's wedding? I'll be 31 weeks. It is a civil ceremony so want to be smart without being too over dressed.

Am a size 14 pre pregnancy. Hate the top of my arms so would like them covered preferably either with sleeves or a dress that can be worn with a cardi. Am also large of nork so don't want to emphasise them too much!
Thanks

I have one like the bianca wrap dress (on the isabella oliver page) in your size- in black. But I wore it with a red satin sash and red shoes.... looked fab (you could get another colour sash if you have some other shoes). Would sell it for £20 including postage.... don't have any photos of me in it and it looks very something and nothing on the hanger but is very flattering on

PCPlumIsMyHomeboy · 16/02/2010 19:35

this is rather lovely

LetThemEatCake · 16/02/2010 19:58

brown, silk chiffon, empire line, sequins at the top (but more subtle bc under a layer of fabric), falls to the knee.

slightly embarrassing but this should link you through to a FB photo of the dress (and me in it at 36 weeks). It's been worn 3 times. Spaghetti straps but looks lovely under a cardi/ shrug.

MrsAlwaysRight · 16/02/2010 20:30

Thanks hettie have had a look on website but am not keen on the end of the sleeves - sorry!

PCPlum like that one but not sure if will make my norks look even more mahoosive than they are all ready!

LTEC looks lovely. Am just slightly concerned that the bust area doesn't look that generous and am wondering if it would accomodate my norks (36FF).

Wow, great photo LTEC.

LetThemEatCake · 16/02/2010 20:38

thanks tethersend - I think i look like a witch! not in a good way!

MrsAR ... oops didn't see that about your boobs. It has got that kind of smocked elasticated thing going on at the back. and it's a size L .. I'm a bit clueless about bust sizes but am only a 34b so maybe not .... sorry

Moneyspider · 16/02/2010 20:39

I'm your size and have this

Very flattering and comfy. Yours if you want it.

Wonderstuff · 16/02/2010 20:45

I got this for a wedding I'm going to soon, plan to jazz it up with some bright jewellery and I can wear it to work with some boots as well.

MrsAlwaysRight · 16/02/2010 20:52

LTEC sadly I have visions of my norks being under the waist band Don't think you look like a witch at all - thought you looked v glam!

Moneyspider that looks lovely. Will have a think about it if thats ok? How much would you want for it if I did want it?

LetThemEatCake · 16/02/2010 20:54

spider's is lovely!!

MrsAlwaysRight · 16/02/2010 20:55

Wonderstuff looks nice but think it would be the wrong length for me - am rather large of calf!

God I'm starting to sound really picky!

Moneyspider · 16/02/2010 21:00

Oh nowt- it's just sitting in the wardrobe doing nothing!

MrsAlwaysRight · 16/02/2010 21:04

Moneyspider - that is v generous. Would feel bad giving you nothing for it though! Can I ask what colour shoes you wore with it?
