HELP! C-section belly balcony

So it's just been 9 days since no. 3 arrived but I am HORRIFIED at the state of my tummy. It looks like an old sofa cushion that's lost its springs. The overhang over the scar is so big you have to lift it up to see my privates. I feel like an old saggy bag looking in the mirror and am wondering if it will ever go?

I have obviously put on weight in pregnancy so am hoping losing that will sort it out to some extent, but is there any hope beyond that - tricks which have worked for you? Creams, potions, exercises, spells ...? Or is more surgery the only real solution (eek!)?

I had the same, it's quite alarming, isn't it? It will go down a lot and stop looking so shelflike and burst balloonish in the next few months. I haven't got quite the overhang look anymore (11 months down the line) but my belly still sticks out a lot more than before, and the stretchmarks make it look saggy in a way it didn't before...

No tips from here though, I'm afraid....

its only been 9 days! it does get better, you probably are still retaining a lot of water too. Have a look again when you can exercise again at 6 weeks.

Thanks, I know I know... It's already looking a bit less shocking, although maybe I'm just getting used to it . Can't wait to get my body back!
