RIP Alexander McQueen

How tragic. My totally favourite outfit ever is a white silk A McQ suit I bought in a Joseph sale about 10 years ago.

I know - it is so desperately sad. It's his mother's funeral today, I think. Perhaps he just couldn't face it.

I am wearing my very favourite McQueen skull scarf today as a tribute.

well, why not? You could pass it on to your dc with the tale of how you bought it the week he died ... it's the kind of thing they'd be all "yeah whatever" about until they hit their 20s. Then they'd be all over the story. I know I would be if it were my mum!

Poor bloke, so shortly after th death of his mother. I hope he's with her now and they are both at peace.

I'd just been looking at A McQ stuff online the day before. I doubt that it will fold - someone else will come on board to design for the label I suppose.

I have been thinking about him a lot. When I was in my early 20s I was crazy about McQueen and Galliano.
