Seemingly impossible quest...the ong sleeved, long bodied t shirt!

I have been going through the pages of La Redoute until my eyes hurt...

I can't find anything. I just want a few long, (Boden tops need not apply!) long sleeved (not 3/4!) simple, slightly stretch tops in plain, normal colours.

It is impossible.

is there NOwhere that sells such things?

I do not want anything with a lace-camisole-effect trim, a 'fancy back' or ruching.

Just some tops.

Flightattendant · 10/02/2010 12:15

Noah we haven't got a Primark otherwise I would have had a look, that's a shame.

H&M occasionally seem to do some but they are quite thin afaik.

I've got some great long bodies long sleeve tops from New Look that are in a whole range of colours. Different necklines too.

jemimapotts · 10/02/2010 13:42

I got a nice one in Sainsbury's for £12. Was surprised as they are hard to get hold of.

LastTrainToGeneva · 10/02/2010 14:16

Sainsbury's tees wash very badly IME. I have very dry pals and I hate anything that starts catching my skin, and all TU tees do that after 2-3 washes.

I'll second Uniqlo, bought from them last month for the first time and I loved the feel and length.

Lastyearsmodel · 10/02/2010 14:23

My twopenceworth - H&M did them last season and they were fab but have not reappeared. New Look ones didn't wash well for me, but the primark ones have been fab - very stretchy Lycra that snaps back into shape after washing.
Haven't tried M&S ones yet... or Uniqlo.

As MN's official White Stuff woman, I have to say some here

DownyEmerald · 10/02/2010 15:13

I find a lot of White Stuff too short in the body. Not always tho'

ihearttc · 10/02/2010 15:51

Ive got the primark ones as well and they really are very good quality-much better than all the more expensive ones Ive got.

I managed to find a scoop neck one in there ages ago as well and wish Id got some more now cause wear that one the most whereas all the others are just round necks...if that makes any sense at all!
