I have in desperation pierced an evening primrose oil capsule and put the oil on my spots before - it could be my imagination but it seems to help soothe them.

Mario Badescu buffering lotion.

It's pricey but always works. Put it on at night and by the morning the spot will be much better. It takes around 3 days for the spot to be totally gone or to be squeezable.

try sitting with your head over a bowl of steaming water and then try giving it a squeeze

I seem to get these a lot too, not sure why really sore and feels like you're growing an extra head

I've tried leaving them when they pop up, but I find that they go down but don't completely go and then come bacj again unless I manage to make it pop ..... sorry if TMI

sudocream every time for my spots

monkeysmama · 09/02/2010 19:08

I've been told they're hormone related and I do tend to get them just before my period.

There is an acne gel you can get from over the counter in Boots called Panoxyl - it comes in different strengths but clears my occasional spots over night. Don't overdo it though or it burns.
