casual workish!

mosschops30 · 09/02/2010 13:39

you might as well have said 'blah blah' WTF is casual workish?

Depends on the shoes - could be casual if worn with plimsoll style footwear.

wahwah · 09/02/2010 13:46

blah blah!

I think they are casual work trousers, ie no external meetings. But for me they would be smart home wear (I tend to just wear jeans/v. asual trousers at home)

but I prefer blah blah!

mosschops30 · 09/02/2010 16:17

I wont be wearing them for work, just for an interview.
Would I get away with them as day-to-day trousers is what Im trying to get at or will I look like im wearing 'worky' trousers.

I am trying to smarten up and look nice every day

i wear trousers like that when i'm home sometimes. if you get the job you could wear them at work or is there a uniform?

why for only internal meetings wah?

mangoandlime · 09/02/2010 16:34

I would wear them with white converse, maybe a white t shirt, I think they're quite versatile actually!

mosschops30 · 09/02/2010 16:40

yes I'll be in uniform if I get the job. Am glad some of you think they could be worn at home or out for lunch or whatever

I suppose I meant dressy enough for when you don't have to super smart at work. I agree they'd dress down with plimsolls and sweater (go Hepburn!) but I'm too much of a slob!

BikeRunSki · 09/02/2010 21:56

I woudl wear them at home (I am trying to smarten up too) with T and Converse, or at work with shirt/ l/s T-top-kind-of-thing and smarter shoes. Well probably boots. My work dress code is smart casual.Which is a horrible dress code to have! It was much easier to wear a suit in my old job!

mosschops30 · 10/02/2010 09:49

Very that I could only fit into the 14. This time last year they would have been an 8
Still I suppose thats the least of my worries
Thanks for everyones opinions, they look lovely on, i really like them

i like the trews - yes ithink you could swing that look at home, (although imagine it with post-grunge vest & cardi combo)
