bridesmaid hair

DD (6.5) is going to be a bridesmaid in 3 weeks time.

She will be wearing this dress and has a little swansdown cape thing (I don't have a picture of that).

I have asked the bride on several occasions to tell me how she would like DD's hair (I'm doing it - wedding on quite a tight budget and so no professional hairdresser for little bridesmaid), and she's incredibly non-committal. She's just said 'oh her hair always looks beautiful, so however you think, really'.

DD's hair is dark chocolate-brown and comes down to where her bra-strap would be if she wore a bra (which obviously she doesn't, being 6 ). It's naturally quite curly / ringletty although if I blow dry it with a brush it will go straight and glossy. She has a little tiara type thing to wear too.

So if you were me, what would you do? Up in a 'ballet bun', down & loose, straight or curly.... ???

help!!

however is least hassle for you and her

personally I'd leave it curly but put it in a hal;f ponytail so it's off her face thus - the tiara will stay in better than in completely loose hair

MrsBadger, you were right about the Aigle Sugey coat, so I am prepared to believe you are right about this too

agree with Mrs B

hair part tied back so off face is good - DD was a bridesmaid 18 monts ago - I did the top of her hair in 2 tiny french plaits, that joined into one plait, leaving the rest loose. Looked pretty, made the most of her long hair, but not flapping round her face.
