Dressmakers- how can I hold jacket closed?

I have bought a new suit for new job, and the jacket is lovely, sale bargain, nice fit - but the buttons finish a touch too low, underneath the bustline (quite busty). It may gape. I can move the reveres together a bit higher up, which looks good with the line of the jacket, but not sure how to hold them together.

Is there a clever trick I can do?
(I am no great sewer, but could attach a hook or something...)

ps it is this jacket

PPS I have also posted in Arts & Crafts, will check both threads.

Ask at a dry cleaners, many do repairs / alterations and they could stitch an additional button hole and use the spare button or you could buy 4/5 new buttons.

I'm no great sewer but I think it will be difficult to do and make it look good. I think adding a hook will look a bit odd.

What would you wear underneath? Why do you need to have the jacket closed?

aaargh, the reason is that I don't want to expose the whole profile of bosom - I will be wearing a reasonably high necked top, but it's a very conservative environment, and I just hate the effect that my norks are 'bursting out' of the jacket.

mynewpans, that's a good idea, I didn't think of an extra buttonhole.
