but a very very good chocolate shop

it's posh innit

flossie64 · 01/02/2010 10:51

Lincoln has neither of those either. The Starbucks staff are pretty useless as well.
Even Scunthorpe has an H&M( no offence to anyone from there)

HelloThisIsJoanie · 01/02/2010 10:52

shock

city centre retains individualism

hwo verydarethey

Piffle · 01/02/2010 10:53

Lincoln has a Primark

abride · 01/02/2010 10:54

Thank God for a city that's not a clone of every other one.

flossie64 · 01/02/2010 10:59

God sorry Piffle , I completely forgot it did. Thats what happens when I am not concentrating properly( sorry I'm not too well at the moment)

GothDetective · 01/02/2010 11:01

Lincoln has 2 Primarks, only about a 3 minute walk from each other which is a bit odd. Wish it had h&m instead.

Restrainedrabbit · 01/02/2010 11:04

Hmm why don't you try the individual coffee shops that litter Salisbury and if you want the above shops then head 30mins down the road to the hell hole that is Southampton, promise you after an hour there you'll be begging to come back

flossie64 · 01/02/2010 11:11

Goth- thread hijack(sorry) have had MRI ,got taken in on Thurs night through A&E.

GothDetective · 01/02/2010 11:13

Are you waiting for MRI results then? I take it its got worse if you went to a&e? Did they keep you in? Hope you ok.

mii · 01/02/2010 11:13

MayorNaze · 01/02/2010 13:02

starbucks should in theory be boycotted in favour of local coffee places anyway except in case of emergency...

HelloThisIsJoanie · 01/02/2010 13:03

both are pretty much home to minor criminals

MayorNaze · 01/02/2010 13:07

i have worked in ludgershall on occasion and STILL cnfuse them

HelloThisIsJoanie · 01/02/2010 13:08

i spend sunday afternoons there all too often

BelleDeChocolateFluffyBunny · 01/02/2010 13:12

We are all living in clone towns. What I wouldn't do to live somewhere with independant shops so I don't have to buy the same things as everyone else across the bloody country.

Starmucks coffee is shite by the way. The Primark in Derby is huge, as is the M&S and Debenhams, there's 2 Boots, 2 Superdrug, a HMV, Waterstones, 2 H&M's (one for children, one for adults), it's quite shite really.

MayorNaze · 01/02/2010 13:13

or you could live in my town where there are more empty shops than occupied ones

BelleDeChocolateFluffyBunny · 01/02/2010 13:15

We have empty shops. No more Zavvi/bay trading/principles......

It'll get better Mayor.

BreevandercampLGJ · 01/02/2010 13:15

I live in a town where there is no cinema, no M&S, no Mc Donald's, no BurgerKing., no TK shite, no Mothercare, no H&M.

It is great.

HelloThisIsJoanie · 01/02/2010 13:16

Outterspace?
